Vallone di Plontaz and Becca dei quattro denti - Valle D'Aosta

Do you want to make your day ? Do you want a day that will be a blast ? Don’t miss an hiking experience to the Vallone di PlontazValle d’Aosta region. This land is located in Valgrisenche, a wild side valley also known as “little Canada”.

The very narrow and long Valgrisenche stretches until the border with France. It is characterized by gorgeous landscapes and scattered by several glaciers, making it a one of a kind place.

From the Beauregard dam you can get the path that winds up into Vallone di Plontaz. Going up, at every bend of the path, you can discover amazing landscapes, very high peaks with glaciers and a pristine nature.

If you take the direction of the very steep Feluma pass (3001 meters high) located on the watershed with Valle di Rhemes, without a deal of an effort you can enter in a high part of Vallone di Plontaz where a stream with clear running water and meadows with soft grass can relay make your day !

Sitting in this environment, you can feel the strength and beauty of a gorgeous nature ! Impossible to describe this feeling in words. You must visit it to understand !

Not so far from this site there is a peak named “Becca dei quattro denti” – four teeth peak. This name derives from four rocky towers that are present close to the top of the mountain.

Becca dei quattro denti is easily accessible and it is on the ridge that encompasses the Feluma pass. The view from its top is fantastic. You can admire the part of Valgrisenche up to the border with France and the glaciers that characterize this fantastic land.
