Val Bodengo

Val Bodengo is a narrow valley close to Val Chiavenna. The particular shape is due to its alluvial origin and is always carved by raging torrents.

To discover this lonely and attractive place, car must be leaved in a suggested spot close to Terz’Alpe, a super tiny village at the feet of Strem cliff, which is a super high rock loved by climbers.

Your eyes will also be caught by a cluster of small rocky houses named ‘ Crotti ‘. Crotti were built in the past with the same rock of the mountains, in order to better preserve food.

While walking along Val Bodegno you can spot the lateral Val Garzelli with its particular broken rock.

Even into this particular valley, BBOI has selected a special restaurant where you may enjoy some tasty local food and wine, the famous Inferno wine for example.
