Punta Fetita

Not so high but located in a beautiful position, Punta Fetita (Fetita Peak) is a mountain embedded in the watershed between two short valleys, one of Vertosan and the other of Planaval.

Punta Fetita is 2623 meters high and it is possible to reach its top passing through Col Fetita, a pass 2557 meters high that can be caught starting from Challancin, a tiny village located in the La Salle municipality at 1610 meters of altitude.

The path to Punta Fetita is neither difficult nor excessively long and it winds through pine forests and wonderful meadows where you can smell the intense perfume of high altitude grass.

From the top of Punta Fetita, you can enjoy a fantastic landscape on Vertosan and Planaval valleys with their peaks among them the Grande Rochere (3326 meters high), but also on the mighty Mont Blanc (4807 meters high).

This hike is one of those you cannot miss and it will remain forever in your soul giving you a wonderful and deep perception of the beauty of nature !
