Greenway at Como lake

The Greenway at Como lake is a pathway that will take you through ancient villages, Romanesque and Baroque churches, and allowing you to admire the breathtaking landscapes that the lake offers. Walking through the ancient cobblestone streets you can see stunning villas and gardens, normally not visible on normal roads.

The whole Greenway is 10 Km long and takes you from Colonno to Griante, passing through Sala, Comacina, Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra and Tremezzo. Given the total length of the pathway, it is recommended to divide it into shorter stages to better enjoy the panoramic points, historic villages and natural beauties.

From Lenno you can enjoy a wonderful view of Monte Muggio, Monte Legnone and the Group of Grigne.

The roads are almost all paved or cobbled, making this route easy to follow and suitable for all ages. Along the route you can find rest points, on benches, on the lake shore or on the lawn.
