Castello Ducale di Agliè is located in Piemonte region more precisely in Aglié village – Canavese zone. This land had a strategic position in the ancient past, because it was close to the border with France. Castle origin comes from XII century. During the following years, as always happened, Castello Ducale di Agliè was possessed by several noble families which left the building each other by descent or political wedding. In those periods the castle structure was continuously modified and also its furniture was upgraded and changed following the fashion of those years and the will of the family that possessed the building. In 1939 the castle become an Italian state property, and from that period it has been continuously restored and perfectly managed, giving the opportunity to visit something unbelievable for its uniqueness.
